Unfortunately I am leaving the blackhat SEO industry. This is for several reasons. Partly because of the hassle generated by spamhunters, my own views on certain aspects of blackhat SEO and where they can lead to and some personal circumstances.

I will still be available for custom programming jobs and something will happen with this site, maybe more of a WH approach.

Anyway, getting to the point… I want to start getting rid of some bits and bobs so first to go is the Automated website creator. I have had a few emails from people asking if they can have this software… I’m sorry to say it’s not free. What’s the catch?

You need to make a donation to the UK Citizens Advice Bureau(CAB) and email me a confirmation of the donation. You will then be emailed a copy of the software.

£25 or less donation - You will be given an encrypted copy of the software which will provide a link to the CAB website on random pages (will not effect the performance in any way).
£25 - £100 - You will be given an encrypted copy of the software. This will prevent it being editted and sold on.

£100+ - You will be given an unencrypted copy of the software but do not have the right to give it away, make the source code available to anyone, nor sell it.

The software will let you earn alot more than this in a very short time.

Why have I chosen the CAB? So much time and effort is put in by volunteers to help people who cannot afford help with their problem or simply don’t know where to look for help with their problems. Many years ago I had the support of the CAB and whilst I don’t donate my time, I do donate money to help them continue to run.

Spamhuntress

I’m sure most of my readers know who Spamhuntress is or have heard of her in passing. There are currently two interesting posts over there which are discussing the legalities of webspam and the threats which spammers recieve.

I think it would be interesting to see some blackhat people post comments on these posts to give a fair balance on the discussion.

Note that Spamhuntress has far too much time on her hands and has a habbit of trying to trackback people who comment on her blog so consider using a proxy/Tor.

Also be wary if you are contacted by a Journalist by the name of Michael Pollitt who has had some stories published by the Guardian newspaper. A couple of people in the BH community have told me that they have been approached by this reporter saying he was interested in doing a story on them and then a short time later similar details were posted by the Spamhuntress. If you read his stories over at the Guardian website you will notice in a couple that he writes about spammers which Spamhuntress has interfered with. He is also a regular poster over at the Spamhuntress blog.

Macbook Pro

Well I decided it was about time I tried using a Mac system. I have always made snide little comments about Macs yet I have never really sat down and used one properly so I went out and got myself a Macbook Pro. I didn’t buy the mac purely because I wanted to test one out… I also heard they’re quite stable :p

I have to admit, the design on these laptops is just superb! They’re slim and just “work”. The built in iSight webcam is just superb. I love the fact they’re the new macs are dual core and have built in wifi and gigabit ethernet. A backlit keyboard which brightness is based on the light you’re in… so if you’re in a dark room the keyboard will be lit bright compared to being outside in the sun when it wont be lit up at all.

The quality of the sound and screen is just amazing.
It’s going to take me awhile to get used to the new operating system, I find some things really useful such as the scrolling using two fingers on the mouse trackpad but find other things quite confusing like the random use of the apple key VS. the CTRL key… why couldn’t they just use one or the other!?

Overall I’m pretty happy with it so far, it’s just going to take a bit of getting used to.

How does a Mac get used in blackhat? Well hopefully I will finally be able to edit the latest video which release date has been pushed right back because I need to edit something out of it!

Paul (seoidiot) toons

My good friend Paul (seoidiot) has released his second seo toon and I found his inclusion of the spamhuntress quite amusing. You can see his first toon and second toon over at his website.

Keep an eye on this guy, he’s gonna be knocking tits with the big boys very soon. Might even be able to afford some kind of hair transplant

Downtime (DDoS)

Okay so you may have noticed that my site was down today… I recently moved the website to the hosts known as nearlyfreespeech.net and to get to the point, their servers are rubbish! They were slow at the best of times and it they were brought down by a DDoS aimed at my website.
After waiting many hours for them to even take action their “support” replied with this:

Hello,

Good news! We have identified the problem.

Bad news! It is a massive DDoS attack leveled directly at your site.

If you were less of an asshole, we might have been able to work with you to find some special arrangement to help keep your site online. However, in this case, no such arrangement will be possible, and even if they were, there is likely nothing we could do to keep your site up in the face of an attack of this scale. So, if I were you, I would look forward to a lot of downtime for the foreseeable future.

As you can see, not very professional. All I can say is that you should definately avoid ‘nearlyfreespeech‘ because it may as well be some teenager with a 486 server on a dialup line.

As for the DDoS, no one has emailed me to claim “victory”(against a terrible host!) so i’m not quite sure whats going on there… but oh well. I’m prepared to throw as much money at the site as needed to keep it up!

I presume its because of my comments on Spamhaus being fined $11.7m which was quoted by news.com.

Also on a side note, I’d appreciate it if Ann(spamhuntress) kept her little puppy journalist away from me.

Okay well the first video seems to have gone down quite well so I have created a second video. My intention is to provide a range of tutorials which result in a fully working system by the end of it.

Keyword scraper video

Okay so I got my hands on some open source software which allows you to record your screen and microphone and save to an AVI video so I figured I’d throw something together and see if people like it.

The first video is just me creating a Ask.com keyword scraper and showing the process from start to end. The typing and audio is in real time.
