phpBB Auto Signup [DISY]

DISY [Did I signup yet?] is a useful piece of software which allows you to automatically signup to phpBB forums with your webaddress in the profile. This will result in automated incoming links to your websites.

Below you can see the software in action. It is multi-socket so you can signup to thousands of forums in a very short time. If forums didn’t want you to signup then they wouldn’t have a signup form. All signup information is randomised per forum, for example random username, email and password. There is a configuration file which will hold an array of your websites which will be randomly signed upto each forum in your forum list. I have included a scraper to collect forums to signup to.

As the script is running it will create a second list of forums named working.txt. As the name suggests this will be a list of all the forums which you successfully signed up for. So you could run a list of say 10,000 forums and then on your next run replace your forums.txt with the contents of working.txt so that you’re not wasting time and bandwidth on forums that failed.
Comments welcomed as usual.

For speed this script uses a PHP5 function which is mutli socketed curl. Most hosts support php5 as default but some hosts require you to use a .htaccess file to force your script to run through php5. You should contact your webhost to discuss this requirement.

Download: This software is no longer available. I am available for any custom programming work required.

Update: It would appear that Tor have started to implement anti-spam controls into their network which are causing DISY to mostly fail went routed through the Tor network. Decreasing the amount of forums to signup to at once may fix this problem(I will test this when I get a chance) but otherwise one alternative is to not route the traffic through Tor. I know that some people have actually gone to the extreme of installing a touring battery in their vehicles and parking outside an unsecured wireless network and leaving a laptop running in the vehicle over night… this is most likely illegal so I can’t really recommend this.
